Federal Surplus
The Federal Government, generates useable property excess to their needs. To insure maximum utilization of such property, excess items are made available to other federal agencies. If there is no need on the federal level, surplus items are then made available to Federal Surplus Property Agencies for screening. The goal of the Nebraska Federal Surplus Property Agency is to make available, to eligible organizations, within the State of Nebraska, property on a fair and equitable basis. With consideration given to eligible donees relative resources, needs, and ability to utilize the property within the limits of the Nebraska State Plan of Operation.
