Work Ethic Camp
The Mission of the Work Ethic Camp is to provide an integrated program in partnership with the Probation and Parole Administrations that combine evidence based practices within a highly structured treatment environment. The overall goal is to reduce the risk of recidivism through offender behavioral change assisting offenders back into the community under close supervision.
The Work Ethic Camp (WEC) provides an individualized program in a time frame appropriate for the individual's needs and sentence structure. For probationers and parole violators, their program cannot exceed 180 days. The 200-bed facility is designed for male offenders/inmates approaching release on Probation and Parole or progressing to community custody.
Offenders/inmates may make telephone calls daily with a limit of fifteen minutes per day. No incoming calls will be accepted or transferred to offenders/inmates.
Offenders/inmates are allowed to possess very few personal items. Cash and televisions will not be allowed. Limited canteen is available for the purchase of hygiene and food items.
Probation offenders having committed a felony offense are admitted to WEC if referred by the Probation Administration through the sentencing District Court. Inmates must be classified to minimum B custody to be eligible for transfer to WEC. Inmates completing the program successfully will be released on parole or transferred to community custody. Offenders/inmates having committed a sex offense or part I violent crime are not eligible for WEC.
Each offender/inmate will receive an individualized program that may consist of:
Special programs also available to those offenders/inmates who have earned such privileges include the Rewards and Trust programs. These programs must be earned through positive behavior and program progress and participation. Those participating in the vocational program and canine awareness must also exhibit these same behaviors.

Visitation is allowed for approved visitors.
Visitors may only visit on one visiting day each week. They may attend both sessions on that day.
